| Stand Ups who have gigged with us Sally
Ann Hayward
Lovely lady, great wicked sense of humour, good stage presence.
Matt Ross
Relative newcomer, great laid back style, big lad!
Charlie Baker
A typical old timer style with a modern day twist, brilliant act
Kevin Bland
Quite a deadpan delivery, worked well and the guildhall crowd liked him;
like to see him to do a longer set, but only just starting in the comedy
world.
Griff Griffiths
If you like your comedy full on delivered by a manic individual then Griff’s
your man! Has an obsession that he is the King Of Spain !
Big lad, full on, in your face
Pat Monahan
A great performer, his off the cuff material works so well, a natural
storyteller with the ability to turn bizarre subject matter into brilliant
humour, bantered with the audience for nearly an hour, sheer class.
Jeff Lane
A psychotherapist finding his way in the comedy world; genuinely funny
guy with some good material, the audience liked him.
Jack Lin
Making the short trip from Reading, Jack struggled a bit tonight, some
bits of good stuff, others not so good, a genuine performer though and
in his own club, the afrodoba, has done really well.
Matt Drayton
Matt has some great material, got the audience on side early on and they
stayed there.
Mike Belgrave
A confident and talented performer, the audience really liked Mike’s
stuff, some bizarre, some surreal but all of it funny.
Cecelia Smart
Making her second return to the Guildhall, an honest and genuine performer,
funny lady.
Jim Grant
Experienced act but the Guildhall audience threw him a little! Probably
a bit too reserved!!
Kev Johnson
Did a Chav character then himself, quickfire gags as opposed to constructed
material.
Drew Cameron
An accomplished Comedy impressionist who has worked hard to get a flowing
set, good material, well delivered.
John Richardson
Will be the big name in Comedy in 2005.A very talented 22 year old whose
stage presence, material and delivery is way ahead of everyone else at
the moment. Will appear on Parkinson I’m sure.
As talented as any big name out on the circuit now.
Paul Jennings
Just so nice to have someone older than me on the circuit! Nice lad is
Paul, great stuff and well delivered.
Craig Deeley
A new act with loads of talent, clever material well presented
Owen Niblock
A quiet, unassuming character with some great material, likeable chap
to boot.
Bullet and Gunn
Just didn’t work with the Guildhall audience.
Keith Barron
Likeable lad from down South, great stories of kids, real life experience
of all the problems associated with fatherhood.
Simon Dunn
If you have a warped sense of humour like me you’d love the inimitable
Mr D.
Great Jesus stories along with the man in the moon.
Johnson & Johnson
2 identical twins, both very funny guys and great off stage as well.
Nick Page
Fresh from Escape to the Country fame, Nick is a truly talented act who
has a myriad of stories, both true and false; has recently opened for
Jool’s Hollands ” Later” programme.
Lovely chap to boot.
Ant Simmons
Great Bristol based act, funny and energetic.
Ian Fox
Very dry, surreal Manchester based act, I really like his humour, to the
point with some bizarre twists.
James D Chapeau
Both a straight Stand up and also a character act, still developing, has
some good material.
Ben Schofield
A larger than life character from Burnley, very funny guy, some interesting
takes on stainless steel dustbins!
Andy Hobo
Shropshire Stand up, some good material about his travels; brought along
his Comedy mentor, his dad, has a wife and a child, the littlest Hobo!
